Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet our representative and begin your private transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful Himalayan landscape. On arrival in Thimphu, check in at the hotel and spend the evening at leisure exploring the local surroundings. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast, proceed for a scenic excursion towards Punakha. En route, visit Dochula Pass, famous for its 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens and panoramic Himalayan views on clear days. Continue towards Punakha and explore the magnificent Punakha Dzong and surrounding valley. Later drive back to Thimphu. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast, enjoy Thimphu sightseeing and explore some of the city's important cultural landmarks. Visit Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong and the local market, subject to opening days. Later drive to Paro through scenic Himalayan roads. Check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, explore the beautiful Paro Valley. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, Paro Dzong and the National Museum, followed by scenic views of the valley and traditional Bhutanese architecture. Subject to weather, timing and fitness, the Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang) hike can also be included. Evening free to explore Paro town. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Paro International Airport by private vehicle for your onward journey. Your memorable Bhutan holiday concludes with beautiful memories of the Land of the Thunder Dragon.
